Manage your subscription

Change or cancel any time from the same Stripe portal in /join. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle — you keep member access until the end of the one you paid for.

Every subscription change — plan switch, cancellation, payment method, invoice — goes through the Stripe portal linked from /join or the account shell at /app. Pricing lives in Docs: Gist membership.

Change your plan

  1. Sign in.
  2. Open /join.
  3. Open the portal and pick the new plan.
  4. Confirm.

Billing prorates automatically.

Cancel

  1. Sign in.
  2. Open /join (or /app).
  3. Open the portal and click Cancel subscription.
  4. Confirm.

Cancellation stops the next billing cycle. You keep member access until the end of the one you already paid for. Nothing is retroactively charged.

Cancelling does not close your account. Reading history, shared Gists, and sign-in still work — you simply go back to the free experience.

Refunds

Just paid and want to undo it? Send a note via contact support. Include:

  • The email on the account.
  • The approximate date of the charge.
  • Whether you want a full refund or credit toward a different plan.

A human reviews every refund request. Typical turnaround: one business day.
