TL;DR: This is beta software. It might break. We might change everything. We might shut it down. You're here to help us test and improve. Don't scrape anything illegal. Don't be a jerk. We own everything we create. You own your content but give us broad rights to use it during beta. If you sue us, the most you can get is what you paid us (probably nothing).

1. Welcome to the Beta

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Beta version of Gist, a Chrome browser extension operated by Mireles & Co, LLC, dba Transcendence, Inc. ("we," "us," "our").

18. Miscellaneous Legal Stuff

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between us.

Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Force Majeure

Government Users

If you're a government user, sorry, Gist is only for commercial use. We don't meet government procurement requirements.

Seriously, thank you for being a beta tester. You're helping us build something awesome. We know beta software can be frustrating. We appreciate your patience and feedback.

When we launch the full version, we'll remember the beta users who helped us get there. Maybe we'll give you a discount. Maybe we'll send you a t-shirt. Maybe we'll just send you good vibes. TBD.

20. The Bottom Line

This is beta software from a small team. We're doing our best, but we make no promises. If you need reliability, wait for our full launch. If you're willing to help us improve while accepting the risks, welcome aboard!

By using the Beta version of Gist, you acknowledge that you've read these Terms, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please uninstall the extension.
